"I always enjoyed painting and could not let my talent go waste. If I wanted to become an artist I had to rise above the disease and put my shoulder to the wheel" she says.

Shyama attributes her success to LORD KRISHNA and her art and paintings are dedicated to HIM. Bedecked with trinkets, baubles and adornments of different materials KRISHNA is the central figure in many of her work. Her art and heart is expressed in Traditional Art of India.

Shyama is guided by two principles in life :

(1) Whatever happens, happens for the best.

(2) Where there is a will, there is a way.
